Celexa Frequent Urination

I have taken generic celexa for a month, and have noticed very frequent urination at night and during the day. Is this side effect normal?

Yes, Celexa contains the active ingredient Citalopram, which is an SSRI antidepressant and the frequent urination is a very common side effect.

If it is causing a severe problem for you, you should discuss it with your doctor, especially since you don't want to risk becoming dehydrated.

I've been on generic Celexa for about 6 months now and I've developed an irregular heartbeat,my doctor had an ekg done in his office and the upper part of my heart flutters,too.I have to see a heart specialist next month and I'm scared of what this might mean.I've been having chest pains and a heavy feeling,and both of my arms have ached for about 2 months now.I get so tired and dizzy.I was fine before starting Celexa.now I don't know what to do.My doctor hasn't taken me off of it,so I don't know what to think.Any comments and advice would be greatly appreciated.
