I need to know what they put in this medication that has my U/A coming up positive for morphine and oxycodone. I dont understand because I dont take these two drugs. I asked a pharmacist and was told its against the law for her to answer the question and that sounds like the worst lie I ever heard. My job knows that I take the medication but with these other two drugs coming up my job is at stake and I need answers. I love me and there's no way in hell I would take three different narcotics. I dont have a cell so I'm using my co-workers phone, so can someone help me get to the bottom of this ASAP? Please someone. Another thing, what is the other 5mg because it says 50/5mg. Does it mean it has acetaminophen in it also like the lortabs?

Hello, Tammy! How are you?

It is most likely due to the Hydrocodone itself, since it is an opiate, it can cause false positives on the cheaper/non-certified drug tests.

The FDA classifies it as a narcotic analgesic and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation.

The DM, which would be the 5mg part of this, stands for Dextromethorphan, it is a cough suppressant.

Is there anything else I can help with?
