Is Azitromicina the correct antibiotic for an ear infection?

Yes, it is a commonly prescribed antibiotic for treating ear infections. There's a study [1] which points to its effectiveness with even a single dose, and you usually don't have to take it as long as a penicillin antibiotic.
i had ear discharge . doc told me to have T.infectum and signoflam and and neosporin ointment . please tell me each' s function . and pharmacist gave me ampilox instead of t . infectum saying it is also antibacterial .
