Good Day My 4 year old grandson was prescribe Trepiline ( 1 in the evening). He started stuttering and when we went to the doctors to see what the reason could be, the doctor prescribed the above and said we should see what reaction this has to the stuttering. Is this correct? I feel very uncomfortable with the medication! Thank you ## Did the doctor posit any theory on why he might have started stuttering? I have been a depressive all my life, so were my parents and parents before them. Ive also always suffered from insomnia for as long as I have lived, even as a baby I have been told that I never napped and would only sleep for a few hours nightly. In my youth I saw therapists and smoked cannabis which mostly kept me in check. After the suicide of my dearest friend in our late teens things got really bad, I lost any drive to get out of bed, I never left the house, i never ate or slept, I finally found help in Zopiclone and Lorazepam, I was finally able to sleep every night and leave the house without having anxiety attacks. I went on like this for a while, doing ok, I started studying and working and fell in love, Life was good for a while, my relationship had its ups and downs and at ti...

I found a foil package for 2 pills that were large red diamond shaped pills now they are missing but nothing I Google describing them comes up ## What you're describing sounds just like a 50mg Desvenlafaxine Extended Release manufactured by Ranbaxy. It's an antidepressant generic for Pristiq. Here's what the NIH site describes it as: "50 mg, light pink colored, diamond shaped, biconvex tablets, debossed with ‘L189’ on one side and plain on other side." Does this sound like what you found? Hope this helps! Source: ## I'm sorry no that's not it they have the letters JR on front and 445 on back ## We'd like to start a new thread for the pill "JR 445" since the title of this one describes a pill with "L189" on it. Is the JR 445 pi...

Does amitriptyline hcl by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals contain gluten or gluten ingredients? It was prescribed to me for the painful spasms from Celiac disease! ## Hello, Tutu! How are you? What are the markings on it? The manufacturer listed on the label is sometimes actually just a licensed distributor, so only the marking will enable me to make sure that I provide you with the correct information.

I've been taking Viibryd for over a year now with great success! It has really changed my life. Over the past 3 months, I've had an issue with chronic Nausea and vomiting . My Dr. Says it isn't drug related since I was able to tolerate after starting. I can't figure out what is causing this and it's very frustrating. My gut tells me it's the drug , but I am so scared to stop taking as its helped me so much! Has anyone else had this issue??? ## Hello, Lily! How are you doing? Your doctor is right, it would be very unusual for the medication to cause nausea, after being on it for such a long time. Has anything else changed, such as your eating habits? Exercise levels? Are you on any other medications? ## No, nothing has really changed, I am not as active as I shoul...

I took 160 milligram cymbalta on Thursday I had the most horrid side effects still had some on Friday and this is Saturday and I still have tremors Dr Mel const a diarrhea nervousness it to an extreme panic attack E & I haven't taken but that one dose I was scared to take anymore ## Hello, Kathy! How are you? Why were you taking such a high dose? Was this your first time taking it? These medications should usually be gradually titrated to reach the optimum dose that works for you, so it's best to start with a lower dose then raise it as your body adjusts. ## that is what the doctor gave me 60 milligrams sample pack I only took one and it freaked me out for 2&a half days along with many other side effects haven't taken any since do not recommend this any reason why it...

I took Prozac for mild depression for 5 days. On that 5th night I woke up having a terrible anxiety attack! Went to hospital, Dr said stop taking Prozac. So I did, had another bad attack 5 days later. It has been 24 days since i last took prozac and it's still affecting me, just not as badly. Get smaller anxiety attacks, depressed feelings, nervousness. Anyone else had this experience? How long until I feel back to myself and the drug is out of my system? I know it effects everyone differently. I just want my life back. ## Hello, Amanda! How are you? Like most other antidepressants, Prozac usually makes some symptoms worse for awhile, before it helps. However, many feel that is a good sign that it will help the person greatly, but this is not proven. I take it for Perimenopause symp...

Last month (Feb 2014) my pharmacy filled my prescription for bupropion hcl sr 200mg with product made by actavis. It was an oval yellow pill. I felt dramatically better, and was looking forward to continuing to use the same product. Now it is apparently no longer available because Activis was bought by Watson. My new prescription is a round white tablet with wpi 3335 written on it. Has anyone else had experience with this particular product? Has anyone found success with any other version of this product. It is very frustrating to have so much inconsistancy from one bottle of medication to the next. (Global Pharmaceuticals was so bad that I changed pharmacies to get a better product.) ## Have you tried talking to your pharmacist about the problem? They may be able to order in the one th...

I've been taking viibryd for 3 months in place of Prozac. I've had a problem remembering my dose because of the "take w food" requirement.... sometimes forget to take it w dinner. Two times now while incredibly overtired, and when forgetting my dose, I have had the scariest experience. When falling asleep, the feeling of drowsiness is so strong, yes like paralysis, and then in my mind's eye I start to see "light bulb flashing" and then I hear voices, and worse my typical ringing in my ears can really kick up the volume! I struggle to open my eyes and even to take a gasp of air! What is this? Talk about really messed up. I am so busy that I really don't want to start changing meds up right now so I will be more diligent and not miss a dose. But I tell you,...

Like most people here, I've been on tons of antidepressants and especially SSRIs because I have depression and anger issues. I was on Zoloft 200mg qd and it was pretty good but not perfect. PsychNP suggested Viibryd. Did a taper onto Viibyrd - I almost never get side effects but I definitely got the nausea and diarrhea. She hoped to have me at just 20mg qd but I was still slightly agitated, went to 30mg, still slightly agitated, went to 40mg and never got to a calming type dose like I can get with other SSRIs, was dizzy, and had horrible insomnia. For my brain, with depression and agitation/aggression, I give Viibryd a 0/10. Tough, slow taper up, painful on the way down. I am hightailing it back to Zoloft 200mg qd and hope for a quick transition away from the dizziness, insomnia and...

Small round white pill with 50 on one side nothing on other side is a 50 mg trazadone. ## Hi Deb, To answer your question.. Trazodone is used as an anti-depressant and anti-anxiety medication. Trazodone itself is in a class of drugs called serotonin modulators. Apparently it's supposed to work by increasing the amount of serotonin in the brain, in order to help maintain a more balanced state of mind. Is this your first time using Trazodone? You can learn more about this drug on the page for Trazodone Details Please post back if there's anything else I can help with!

I was taking Venlafaxine) 75mg & was changed to Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) 100mg for MDD. I was taking Fentanyl transdermal 75mcg/h q 48 hrs along with Oxycodone/APAP 10/325, as needed for chronic pain. A UDS I came back showing negative for opiates & was discharged from my Dr. for not taking my meds as prescribed when I was & now having to look for another Dr. & having to withdraw from my meds! Will either of those SSRIs cause a false positive for opiates on the UDS?

I have been on vibryd for about two months now. I have noticed hair loss and some diarrhea. With the diarrhea I have bloating and excessive gas to the point of not being able to control this. Needless to say, I limit my visits with this problem. I take 40MG tabs, so how would I start weaning this? Maybe every other day and then next week skip two days, and etc? i am a healthy 70 yr old and usually have no problems. Deaths of my husband, sister and brother in a 6 mts span started my going on this. ## Hi Pat, Due to the severe nature of withdrawals - In my honest opinion, it would probably be wise to discuss a tapering approach with your doctor that best suits your personal needs. I know that some medications may be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces ca...

Pharmacy says it is escitalopram but my normal pills are round. These are oval. ## Hello, Pnuts! How are you? The shape, size and color doesn't actually mean anything. Generic for Wellbutrin 150 mg SR ## Sorry, I cannot find this listed anywhere. ## What country did you get this medicine from? Does not appear to be a U.S. brand name. ## Bupropion HCL SR manufactured by WATSO is the generic for Wellbutrin SR. Bupropion HCL ER by EONLB is another substitute. A new drug was approved a few weeks ago but I believe it is in direct competition with Wellbutrin. Regards. ## Actavissou: sold by Walmarts as a generic for Wellbutrin SR Bupropoin 150MG. Help? My mum has been taking 15 mg Mirtazapine for 2 weeks. She then went onto 30 mg for 2 weeks and has now been on 45 mg for 1 week. I am told she will get better but I'm sorry I don't believe this at all. She is now hearing voices and she says that stops her doing things, but I believe these are just thoughts. I have been on paxil over 6 weeks now up to 60 Mgs whAt is the longest this can take to start working or does it mean if its bit working by now it just won't work for me please respond ## Hello, Theresa! How are you doing? 6 weeks is the maximum time it takes to reach it's full efficacy level in the body, in many people it reaches that level in as little as 4 weeks. Learn more Paxil details here. But how long have you been at this dosage? You really need to be at one dosage for that period of time, in order to see if it's going to help you, because every time you raise the dosage you cause more side effects to occur, which can make it seem like it isn't working. ## Don't always listen to what the "supposed" tested length is told to you as this will be quite d...

I am so glad I found this forum, as I see I'm not the only one experiencing terrifying sleep paralysis, amongst other side effects. I have been on 20mg for about five weeks now, and am calling my doctor first thing in the morning to get off this medication immediately. Aside from three full weeks of heavy side effects (GI issues, increased Depression [I've never even had Depression!], vertigo, nausea, etc... I am now experiencing sleep paralysis, auditory hallucinations, irrational thoughts, nightmares and increased anxiety because of the sleep paralysis. I have suffered from GAD, and Panic Disorder for 15 years, and have been on various SSRI's/Benzodiazepines, and can assure you I have never, ever been this terrified of a medication in my life, nor have I EVER had such irra...
