I was given Bactrim for a mild bladder infection. Nearly died. I went into kidney failure and my body quit making blood. I only had 7 pints left by the time I got to the hospital. I am now in chronic kidney failure with about 40% kidney function. I would recommend taking anything else, as you just do not know how it will affect your body.
