Amox-clav 875 / Augmentin Skin Rash

I took my first dose of augmentin this evening and when I was going to sleep my hands started itching. I finally got annoyed enough to go look for some cortisone cream and when I turned on the light I saw that my whole body was red - except my face. It's worst on my feet, inner part of legs, stomach and arms. My hands and feet are what itch the most. I just took Benadryl and a probiotic. Should I be concerned? Will this go away in the morning? It's driving me nuts already.

YES you should be concerned. Your experiencing an allergic reaction and should seek assistance immediately. Please visit your nearest urgent care or emergency room for supportive measures that can assist you before some effects can prove debilitating for life.This is serious I want to impress upon you to seek treatment ASAP

As was already stated, you should seek medical attention. Such allergic reactions tend to get worse with repeated exposure, so it needs to be treated and you'll most likely need to switch to a different medication.

Other allergy symptoms may include swelling, hives, and breathing problems.
