I took two tsps and then remembered that I am now on Escitalopram... Will I have any problems combining the two? ## According to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool), there are no interactions listed between Cheratussin AC and Escitalopram. This does not necessarily mean that no interactions exist, however, I have no reason to believe that the combination is unsafe based on my own investigation. Nevertheless, it's always a good idea to consult your prescribing doctor with any doubts or concerns before moving forward. Hope this helps! ## Hi ...my doctor which I dnt really trust but me on Escitaloprom 10mg in the morning and zopax 0.25 at night for anxiety and de...
this white oval pill has line across middle of back ## Hello, Eileen! How are you? I'm sorry, but so far, I haven't been able to find a listing for anything that matches this description. Where was it found? If it's an over the counter product, some of them are regional, so knowing the general location may help to narrow it down. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? ## Hello, I am looking for the same answer for AZ345. Found it in my robe pocket and am almost positive it is hydrocoedone pain pill. No other pill in my house has the same imprint and I recently finished a bottle of these. ## I am pretty sure it is a Dollar Tree generic form of Mucinex with a cough suppressant. therefore Guaifenisen which i...
What is this pill used for? My wife is taking it and all she does is sleep. Is it for gaining weight or what? ## I'm trying to find something stronger for weight gain, as the Cipritol-4 syrup did not work for me, nor did Apetamin. I need something stronger. ## Cipritol is listed as containing the active ingredient Cyproheptadine, which is actually an antihistamine that is used to treat and prevent allergic reactions, thus drowsiness is one of its normal side effects. It can also cause weight gain, as a side effect, but that is really not its intended use, and if she is taking it regularly, or taking more than the normal dosage, it will could cause her to sleep a lot. Mikimouse, are you underweight? If so, you should speak to your doctor about a safe way to try to gain weight. Howeve...

Please, which pharmacies carry fluimucil effervescent in the USA? My father needs this medicine and for now we cannot find it in our country and that is why we need to find it in the United States. Help us. ## Hello, Esfera! How is your father doing? The FDA lists Fluimicil as containing Acetylcysteine, in the U.S. it is actually considered a supplement and is available over the counter in most vitamin and nutrition stores. However, the brand name Fluimicil is not available here, so you'd need to look for an effervescent formulation of Acetylcysteine here. It has been known to cause nausea in some people that take it. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Usted sabe si walgreens vende flumucil.
my baby is 3 month old and the doctor adviced him to drink amboxol syrup im wondering why not ambroxol drops is syrup safe for his age with a dosage of 2ml twice a day my baby's weight is 6kls ## Hi ivy, I have read that any cough/cold medication (specifically over the counter medications) can be potentially unsafe for a child under the age of 2. If your son is dealing with a cough or nasal congestion, I recommend giving him a hot bath or using a humidifier in his room... the steam may help to loosen up the cough and clear the airways. If the symptoms persist or worsen and giving him the medication is your only option, then I suppose it would be best to follow your doctor's advice and give your baby the dose that your doctor prescribed. I hope this helps, please post back if you...

I have a lots of phlegms.... cough much, troat itchy and have a block nose with sticky mucus..been to see a hospital doctor but seems never clear off this sickness... is it ok if i take this fluimucil 600 acetycysteine? Please help.... thanks.. ## Hi Valerie, Sorry to hear about your flu symptoms. I know you posted this just the other day, so I hope you're starting to notice some relief by now. Based on my research, Fluimucil 600 (N-Acetylcysteine) is commonly used to treat respiratory tract infections - including those that have lots of mucous secretions. If this is something your doctor recommended for you, I see no reason why it wouldn't be ok to take; especially since it's specifically indicated for your type of symptom...

My sister is getting married on Saturday. I took a spoonful of Hydrocodone / Chlorpheniramine ER and was wondering if I could drink beer at her wedding on Saturday? I take 5 milliliters every 12 hours. ## It is the Hydrocodone that is the main concern here, since it is known to react with alcohol far more than the Chlorpheniramine, according to FDA reports. It could cause you to experience more severe side effects than usual, such as dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, sedation, and headache. Unfortunately, you did not list the time frame in between drinking and taking the medication. Can you post back and be more specific? Thank you! ## How long does 10 ml of chlorpheniramine maleate stay in your system? ## Depends if you're a fast or slow metabolizer. On average it's about 5 days. ...
Please help! I've found a hot pink round pill w/ an imprint of B. Nothing else. I found it in my daughters things after unpacking from a trip. ## It is identified as Fastmelt Children's Benadryl 19mgs. She had allergy problems I'm guessing. :) ## Yes, Benadryl contains the active ingredient Diphenhydramine, it is used to treat allergies, and as a sleep aid, since it causes drowsiness as a side effect, along with dizziness, and dry mouth. There is a round, pink childrens tablet with a B on it, as described by Jimbo, as well as a regular 25mg oblong pink tablet, both are available over the counter. Is there anything I can help with?
