Adderall Manufactured By Teva Not Working (Page 49) (Top voted first)

I have had two refills of Adderall 20 mg that was manufactured by Teva/barr (Teva) and it seems to have much less medication in each pill. Refills by another manufacturer work. This is ridiculous, and where do we report Teva and who can check each pill for amount for medication? I would gladly donate some of my worthless ones to the FDA?

Are you ok? What the F does employee skin color have to do with the quality of medicine? Stop voting for racist capitalists who are against REGULATIONS that would require medication to be the strength it claims to be.
You vote against any kind of health and safety regulations then you whine you get bootleg meds. Typical.

I am taking 20 mg of the name brand twice a day and still hungry. I recently read that it could be too much acid in my stomach mimicking hunger pains and to take tums before the Adderall. The amount of hunger pains seems to change day to day.

Mrs G, how do you like the XR by Shire? I understand you're having side effects however do you feel motivated to work, study etc? I'm thinking of making the switch as well. Is it expensive?

Chris- I wanted to update you on my Shire XR capsules. I discovered that if I open the capsule and take half of it with one of my Barr 5mg IR in the morning I have no side effects. I am still intending on going back to my Barr IR tabs for my prescription next month as they worked fine for me. I think that even though I am taking half the dose I normally would by using half of the Shire XR capsule as opposed to the whole, I feel the positive effects because ingesting the entire capsule makes the medicine remain in my system too long and the therapeutic benefits are over powered by too much of the l-amp which lingers in my system longer than the d-amp in the meds. I found the medical insert that Shire has with the XR capsules on-line and the insert has a section on the absorption and elimination rate of each ingredient in the med, and it says that the l-amp takes a few more hours to eliminate through your urine so once the d-amp is gone and only l-amp is left it makes you feel a little bit wired, intense, ect.

I have never used adderall . It seems odd how the same medication made by different pharmaceutical companies differ. I am on a clonidine transdermal patch for blood pressure. My physician wrote out a new script for me. After I got the new patches they would not keep my Bp under control. I hunted up an old box that I kept and they were made by TEVA which worked wonderful. I dialed him up and told him to rewrite a new script and put on it by TEVA only. It has been working like a charm. Sometimes you have to investigate and shop around.

I was taking the round pink ones and we went to a different place now where we can get are shopping done at the same time get prescriptions filled, and didn't notice till my next dose they are round and peach color with a 28 and two half moon shapes on the back, are these better than the pink ones. The peach ones say they are by Teva, i never heard of them????

Starlight- My doctor writes the generic brand that works for me with DAW on my prescription. Maybe yours will do the same! :)

I have taken Teva generic adderall ir for many years, and although it can be at times inconsistent, it is far better and more efficacious than corepharma, or any other brand I have found as of yet

I heard that there was a recall by TEVA of 20 mg?? Or maybe you could be right about the 10's. But the reason was because they put too much of the Active Ingredient into the tablets!! In other words they sent out some Adderall that was strong, for a change, but wanted it back!

Okay Activas (pardon spelling) has a 20 mg. and a 30 mg and both tablets (cresent moon #26 and #28, the latter # being the 30 mg.).
POINT: both the tablets for 20 and 30 MG. dosages are exactly the same size. That is NOT possible...You understand why I'm sure...How can identically sized pills be two different dosages...no adderral manufacturer in existence right now has a 20 and 30 MG pill that are the same size except for Actavis.

The thing is, you do know Teva is the brand adderall now? They make a generic under Barr, but they bought Barr, shire was the original, they got bought out as for as adderall IR by another company, then teva bought them, so hold up on filing a complaint because they are brand name adderall IR.
