Adderall Manufactured By Teva Not Working (Page 33) (Top voted first)
UpdatedI have had two refills of Adderall 20 mg that was manufactured by Teva/barr (Teva) and it seems to have much less medication in each pill. Refills by another manufacturer work. This is ridiculous, and where do we report Teva and who can check each pill for amount for medication? I would gladly donate some of my worthless ones to the FDA?
Re: Hamster (# 1018)
its no accident, i take lorazepam and they did the same thing to it
Re: joe (# 1020)
What is going on with the medicines?
Hello I am having the same issues with this Brand. I am experiencing severe headaches no energy and sluggish. This is extremely frustrating.
Re: Nick (# 1027)
Yes, we want references if anyone would like to share what they find. Please do!
Re: Hamster (# 1028)
They probably get weak at the end of the year because they start to run out of the allotted active ingredient (they are only allowed a certain amt per year) and I know there was an Adderall shortage in the fall like usual.
Re: Davemp88 (# 1047)
You're sure they're made in USA? How do you know?

Re: Davemp88 (# 1050)
I think they do make some meds in USA, but now I'm curious. Does the label say "manufacturered by"?
Some will have a USA address that says "manufactured for" or "distributed by".
Either way, if they work well, I guess it doesn't matter.
Re: Runsand (# 1051)
Yeah, it shows the plant they came from. I believe it’s in North Wales, PA.
How about this “replacement” for Teva?
Now my “go to” pharmacy/Grocery chain here in San Antonio carries no more Teva but a very similar looking Teva 30 mg IR - not made by Teva- but by Elite Pharmaceutical - with a distribution handled by Lannett.
Again, these pills are eerily similar looking but new Lannett are lighter peach in 30mg,
Any comments for those that have tried this generic?

The manufacturer that replaced teva is lannett. Walgreens only used teva now teva turned everything over to Lennett company. It looks the same oval orange but instead of the b the lannett put a e
Teva has been bought out by a company called lannett. Same oval orange but instead the b lannett put a e. It’s a lot weaker by 20% I was told. Leagally they can do that. Generics are allowed to only have 70% of the actual ingredients of the brand name adderall. If you want a good IR adderall try to find sandoz. Teva is done as of May 1st
Re: JD (# 1063)
TEVA still shows on their website as the manufacturer and sell generic Adderall XR
Re: TM (# 1070)
I havent seen any official reports of Teva actually stating anything about merging with any companies as far as adderall goes. I’ve seen buy outs from years ago. I called a local Rite Aid today and the pharmacist told me that they have Activis/Teva in stock. He said he assumes maybe they bought them out but no one locally carries just Teva anymore. URG. I’m waiting to drop my script off that is for two months. I don’t want to waste another two months of my life
Re: Ks83 (# 1073)
Seriously so true.
Re: BlessedLady (# 1090)
I have noticed something usual with the tablets this time.
On some of the tables the -30- is upside down in relation to the other side/
Must have been a manufacturing mistake
I heard, also, that Walgreens will no longer be contracting with TEVA
as it relates to Adderall.
Re: RJ (# 1096)
Do you mean Lannett? I keep looking into this about Teva being taken over by Lannett and I can’t find anything about it, I even work in pharmacy.
If this is true though, God help us. Taking over the last good manufacturer and replacing them with Lannett is such a horrendous concept they might as well be discontinuing Adderall altogether. Ugh.
Re: Jessika (# 1104)
That’s exactly what I said needs to happen…a lab test.
Re: Dee dee (# 1115)
Make sure to report this to the FDA!
It's unacceptable, something needs to be done about it.
