Adderall Manufactured By Teva Not Working (Page 31)
(Newest replies first)

I have had two refills of Adderall 20 mg that was manufactured by Teva/barr (Teva) and it seems to have much less medication in each pill. Refills by another manufacturer work. This is ridiculous, and where do we report Teva and who can check each pill for amount for medication? I would gladly donate some of my worthless ones to the FDA?
Re: BobH (# 787)
I'm not so sure I would agree with all of this statement. The reason being is that with the many manufacturers out there making it and the allowance of active ingredients being able to vary by 10% I believe. This makes for a combination of daily ,monthly yearly different outcomes. I say this because non of these are on spot perfectly perfect. From fillers to coloring. Then add the amount of active ingredients. Basically it's a juggling match. Nobody can dispute this.

Firstly, If you find this exchange “entertaining” you are clearly disrespectful of the needs of others. Your sarcastic and arrogant “congratulations on the use of a thesaurus” is a case in point. I’m afraid your “handle” is the giveaway - it must be wonderful to know to a certainty that it is you who are the norm from which other people differ. I have always found that prayer has taught me humility and compassion. A different God perhaps?
Secondly, those truly afflicted with ADHD do NOT experience a “high” or “euphoria” from the prescribed medications unless they take significantly more of the medication than prescribed. I.e. they abuse prescription medication. Those that experience a “high” from lower doses are usually those that have been incorrectly diagnosed - usually as a result of telling a doctor what that doctor needs to hear to justify a diagnosis in order to get hold of amphetamines.
Re: Kimmy (# 777)
How does Mydais compare to Teva or other Adderall IR generics?
What is the brand that you stated does work for you?
Re: ADSMHD (# 783)
You should seriously learn to pray for many many things. Keep posting. We're loving the entertainment.
Re: GuyWhoHatesTheGenericLottery (# 782)
You're right, this is Medschat. Not junkiechat. Congratulations, you know how to use a thesaurus. Your grammar is still, however, laughable.
ADSMHD (# 778) --
Any peer reviewed studies in medical journals on how prayer can improve the well-documented neurological symptoms and psychosocial difficulties of a disorder like ADHD? What about double-blind studies pitting prayer against stimulants (non-generic, btw), the gold standard for medical treatment of ADHD?
Didn't think so. You're so intellectually -challenged you can't even parse "judge not, lest he be judged."
This is MEDS CHAT, not Religion Chat.
...And I'd love to hear more from Bellflower, who a few pages ago mentioned a patent they saw online which stipulated altering Schedule 2 drugs to prevent "abuse" (and also prevent them from working apparently). Links, please!
Re: Worldisfull (# 780)
I feel like you lack the ability to read. While Karen and yourself are clearly looking to get a fix and chase euphoria, I have been safely using Adderall at 5-10mg once a day for many years. Yes, turn to prayer, it's far more satisfying than the drugs you are wanting to abuse.
Re: ADSMHD (# 775)
While you're "seeking through prayer" you should also seek forgiveness for being a hypocritical liar.
BELOW IS YOUR POST ON SEPT. 11TH 2018 ON A DIFFERENT FORUM IN MEDSCHAT WHERE YOU ARE SEEKING OUT A SPECIFIC ADDERALL MFG.
Care to comment now on "chasing euphoria" and being addicts that you accused others of doing simply for discussing bad quality generics???

Where did you find the Sandoz generic? I've been looking all over for it but no luck so far.
Re: JoshuaChrist (# 772)
You are not educated. Your own personal experience does not educate you on the manufacturing process of generic drugs, recalls, variance of quality and ingredients, etc. What you are spewing is personal experience and opinions. Not facts. Your shared observations and accusations are as ridiculous as your claims of being educated on a topic you clearly are not.
This forum is for people discussing problems with generic adderall manufactured by Teva. You are unable to comprehend and maintain the topic of this forum much less contribute useful information to the subject being discussed. Please go find somewhere that your "imput" would be appreciated. I'm not alone when I say it certainly isn't here.
Re: Linds (# 776)
Have you tried the Mylan generic brand? After bad experiences with Aurobindo and Teva, I had almost lost hope as well. My most recent fill was with Mylan (20mg) at CVS, and after two weeks on it I'm thinking I've found my new favorite generic. I'm getting great focus, calm energy, and a pleasant mood boost, while no side effects other than a little dry mouth. None of the anxiety, depression, and panic that Aurobindo and Teva gave me. I did however lower my dose to 15mg because the full 20mg of Mylan felt a little strong. Nothing alarming or uncomfortable, but to be honest it felt a little too good, and I didn't want to do any work, just listen to music and talk to people lol. Tbh at 15mg I feel great and productive, and see no reason to take the full 20mg.
I was taking a low dose, 10mg’s 2 x a day. As soon as Teva became the only option the difference was night and day. My doc thought I had grown used to the 10mgs, so he bumped me to 20’s. I was losing my mind after 4 days, stopped taking it and asked to go back to 10’s. Last month I had enough. I needed something that helped me, and teva clearly wasn’t the answer. The brain fog was awful! Seemed like it worked for 2 hours, then complete lack of ability to think. He suggested Mydayis, and I’ve now been taking that for 3 weeks. Night and day difference. So glad I didn’t settle for a bad medication!
Re: ADSMHD (# 775)
Right, which if you read my post, you would see that I am not going to be taking it any longer.
It’s not worth the side effects.
Re: Linds (# 774)
That's okay, every seeks happiness in one way or other. I choose prayer myself. You might want to try something other than Adderall, because that's a rough road to chase euphoria down.
Re: JoshuaChrist (# 772)
I am not planning on taking them again smart ass.
I have never sought euphoria, I have sought relief for my ADD, which I had until Teva was the only brand I could get.
Re: Worldisfull (# 770)
I'm more than just educated, I'm experienced. I've taken every single generic that is out there. Other than Aurobindo having a slightly amplified side effect profile due to my allergies to a dye in their 20mg formulation, all Adderall generics have been equally effective in my experience.
Re: Linds (# 769)
That's good that you were able to stop for 2 months. Now try the same pills you thought were ineffective, or gave you side effects, and you'll find the euphoria that you are seeking again. Your tolerance should've have gone down a bit by now.
I am done with amphetamine salts in general. I have to say I never had these issues with ritalin/metadate when I was a child until high-school. I guess I am with ritalin now.
JoshuaChrist,
You obviously failed to educate yourself before making such an ignorant comment.
I'm sure there's a forum for you somewhere.
Re: JoshuaChrist (# 768)
Nope, not true.
You could blindfold me and give me a Teva one day and give me a different generic the next and I could tell you which is which.
Teva gives me a horrible headache and anxiety. It has nothing to do with chasing a high, it has to do with wanting medication to do it’s job without horrible side effects.
I have stopped taking the medication all together the last two months because it has been so bad.
